I like the sweetness of this vinaigrette with vegetable salads that are mixed with grains.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons coarse grain Dijon mustard
2 ounces red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
1 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment:
One jar with cover that holds at least 1 ½ cups

Directions:

Pour all ingredients into jar except for salt and pepper. Cover jar tightly and shake vigorously. Taste. Try some with your salad before adding salt and pepper right away.

Notes:

Yield: 1 cup
